Yes, for some reason, I’m going to be allowed back into BBC2‘s Working Lunch studio this Tuesday, despite the proliferation of awful puns the last time I was on screen.
This time I’ll be talking to Declan about CES, the consumer electronics show, and the technology that was shown during the exhibition. I’ve just finished editing some footage including Windows 7 screenshots which hopefully will be displayed in the background of shot.

Will set my recorder for this as will be in work, as looking forward to what you think of Windows 7 in its beta 1 build?
Hello!
Fellow IT geek here 🙂
I have downloaded a copy of Windows 7 and had a play, the only thing I haven’t done yet is wack it in a network environment which is where Vista fell down so spectacularly.
My question is this… can a company truly bring out a “new” operating system, when it’s quite obviously Vista – but works ? After reaping all the financial rewards for bringing out Vista, they are now bringing it out again, and charging everyone and calling it a new operating system.
So they have banged a couple of upgrades in as things like facebook are popular, but to me I just feel they are really just bringing out the final version of Vista.
Rant over.
Jon 🙂
